Advisory lessons
I am wondering what your thoughts are on the advisory lesson plans. I was thinking that perhaps we could include some lessons that teach more about the domains in the matrix. This week I was having my students work in groups to choose an area of the matrix and creat a skit where they act out a scene that demonstrates that domain. Any thoughts?

I know we need an interim plan for advisory lessons, but I don't want to abandon the plan from last year. I also think that we should ask staff members what the behavior matrices behaviors look like for the adults in the building. This would reinforce the idea that the behavior matrix is for EVERYONE and could lead to renewed connection with the staff.
I agree with Ron. We are role models for the students and if the adults are not exemplifying/practicing the desired behaviors, all of our efforts will be in vain!
